Alan Dunham Trio

Alan Dunham is a well-respected singer-songwriter from the 518. Known in the Capital District as a soloist, a recording engineer, and a member of Strand Theater’s fabulous house cover band, Dunham is a well-respected singer-songwriter and 12-string guitarist with a 40+ year career.

For this special show, he’s revisiting his early songs first released by publishing houses in Nashville, New York, Burbank and Chicago. At that point in his career, Alan Dunham was writing music for film and television. He released a vinyl album in 1980, Flying Alone, that was reissued last year by Numero Group. Tonight you’ll hear the album performed in its entirety by Dunham, accompanied by violinist Tania Susi and vocalist Elizabeth Winge.

Dunham, who wrote his first song at age 13, hopes his long and winding path in music inspires others to keep their creative fires burning bright as the years go by.
