Beyond Purple (Featuring Jimi Bell)

Beyond Purple consists of professional musicians including Jimi Bell (guitarist for national act Autograph) and Drummer BJ Zampa ( drummer for national act Dokken) who have extensive years of experience. The show consists of Deep Purple Hits with an energy of the real Deep Purple show, along with the hits of Rainbow, Whitesnake and Dio. In addition to Mike Gill’s strong powerful vocals, matching Ian Gillan, David Coverdale, Graham Bonnet, Joe Lynn Turner and Ronnie James Dio, Jimi Bell’s guitar playing showcases his devotion to Richie Blackmore. Beyond Purple adds heavy Jon Lord Hammond organ sounds and a steady and strong rhythm section. The band lays it all out on the stage to bring you back to the ’70s and ’80s musical experience.

Admission is free due to generous grants from the Town and Village of Lake George in support of the Strand Summer Slam: a 2 day music and art festival to raise awareness and funds for the continuing renovations and operations of the Strand Theatre Hudson Falls. The Strand Theatre is owned and operated by Hudson River Music Hall Productions, Inc; founded in 2010 to “…create community through music and the related arts”, to be an incubator for creative output, and to create economic and educational opportunities through the arts in the village of Hudson Falls, NY.
