Bonepony

Bonepony is a Nashville based trio with a sound uniquely their own. A healthy dose of electrified blues, soulful rock and outlaw country are the main ingredients to what can only be described as a high energy sound. Bonepony’s Capitol Records debut “Stomp Revival” was released in 1995 and has performed close to 4000 shows since. Touring with  acts like Bob Seeger, ZZ Top, CSNY, Santana, as well as countless festivals and small venues headlining. In recent years the band has performed on a dozen Rock music festival cruises with Lynyrd Skynyrd and other major acts.

The latest CD “The Best Is Yet To Come” exhibits well weathered vocals, playful lyrics and a gritty musicianship that makes you want to throw your hands in the air and join in with the band. With Nguyen playing anything and everything with strings, as Johnson belts out lyrics and pounds rhythm on the drums, Jason Dunaway returns after 20 years picking up where he left off with his (as Rolling Stone magazine once put it) “movie star looks and jazz level bass chops!”
