Flatwounds – Free Music Video Shoot (w/ MK Ultra, Take Steps, Spiritkiller)

Flatwounds is throwing a free music video shoot and concert at Empire Underground in Albany. With special guests MK Ultra, Take Steps, and Spiritkiller. All ages.
This up and coming four-piece siphons influence and inspiration from the ’90s grunge, ’00s hard rock, and modern hardcore sound and scenes. Fans of Alice In Chains, System of a Down, and other classic artists of that era will be drawn to Flatwounds’ thick and gloomy guitars, gritty energy, and penchant for melodic hooks that take up real estate in your brain for weeks at a time!
Flatwounds — Colin O’Hare, vocals; Matthew Degnan, guitar; David Granger, bass; and Wade Coonrad, drums — are based in Albany, New York. The band has steadily built a name for itself the grassroots way — by self-releasing a series of EPs and by playing as many shows to as many people as possible. They’ve released three EPs — Down (2023), Raw (2023), and Drain (2024) — and they’ve shared stages with Jigsaw Youth, Show Me the Body, Eyehategod, and Wargasm (UK). It’s an impressive resume for such a young band at the start of its career. It’s also is a clear indicator of where Flatwounds are headed and that’s to the stratosphere.
