Halloween III: Season of the Witch (1982)

In Halloween III: Season of the Witch (1982), the most controversial entry in the Halloween franchise, wearing the mask of a skeleton, witch or pumpkin could prove deadly. Dr. Daniel Challis (Tom Atkins) and Ellie Grimbridge (Stacy Nelkin) stumble onto a gruesome murder scheme when Ellie’s novelty-salesman father is killed while in possession of a Halloween mask made by the Silver Shamrock company. With the assistance of hypnotic TV commercials aimed at America’s children, this company’s owner, Conal Cochran (Dan O’Herlihy), intends to use his masks to return Halloween to its dark roots, unleashing horrifying death and destruction.
