Joudy / Wax Shamu / Reaches

Joudy, a New York City-based band characterized as experimental rock, developed their sound in their motherland, Venezuela. Influenced by Afro-Caribbean rhythms, the British 90’s trip-hop scene and American 90’s grunge-rock, they merge their sounds into a language, mystical lyricism. After having toured throughout Venezuela and self-releasing two albums, the band relocated to the US in 2019. Hudson Valley multi-instrumentalist Reaches (Justin Randel) and Troy’s own Wax Shamu are in support.
