Listen Up Awards 2025

Save the date for the 2025 Listen Up Awards brought to you by Radio Radio X and Mirth Films! This year we decided to bring the award ceremony back to The Cohoes Music Hall in Cohoes, NY on March 23rd, 2025 at 3pm.

As always, it’s YOUR VOTE and YOUR CHOICE. Last year, nearly 50,000 votes were placed in support of the live musical acts that make the Capital Region so special. Aside from the awards, there will also be live performances and we will be honoring heroes of the local music community. Aside from the awards, there will also be live musical performances from DJ Goodlyfe, Donna Tritico, Embe Esti and The Hauntings.

The Listen Up Awards is a peoples choice music award ceremony celebrating local talent in the Capital Region created by Mirth Films and Radio Radio X. Your Vote, Your Choice. The inaugural Listen Up Awards was hosted on June 17th, 2022 at Lark Hall in Albany, NY opening the doors to hundreds of fans and musicians.

In 2023, The award ceremony was hosted at the Cohoes Music Hall in Cohoes, NY with over 38 thousand Capital Region music fans voting for who they wanted to win. In 2024, we brought the Listen Up Awards to Putnam Place in Saratoga Springs, NY.

To go along with the awards, each year features multiple live performances. Even with this being a people’s choice style award show, we have gone even farther to keep things fair. Winners of a Listen Up award can not be nominated the next year and the live performers cannot be an act that is nominated for that selected year.
