Movie Night Double Feature: RoboCop (1987) & Eliminators (1986)

We’re reviving some serious android action at the @mphalbany!! “Dead or alive, you’re coming with me.” For our February movie night double feature we’re showing two films that feature human-cyborg heroes doing what they do best. Up first we have Paul Verhoeven’s Robocop from 1987. In a dystopic and crime-ridden Detroit, a terminally wounded cop returns to the force as a powerful cyborg haunted by submerged memories. Followed by 1986’s Eliminators. A mandroid pilot rebels against his creator, teaming up with the scientist responsible for android technology, her pet robot Spot, a rough-and-tumble riverboat guide, and a martial arts warrior.
