Pony in the Pancake presents a night of varied independent music from local artists. There will be something for everyone. The five acts on this bill span the spectrum of folk, electronica, rock and roll, new wave, old wave, true wave, psychedelic improvisation, and party music. By the end of the evening you will walk out of Lark Hall and lights will be brighter, trees greener, and water cooler. You will never be the same. You will be transformed into a being of Light and Love. We can’t wait to see you there.

Pony in the Pancake has been a mainstay on the Capital District music scene since the mid 2000s. Anyone who’s had the pleasure of witnessing their live show has felt the sweet spot where the propulsion of the Velvet Underground, the wide-eyed romanticism and surf twang of the Beach Boys, and the elliptical grooves of Krautrock intersect.
