The E-Block (w/ LadyByrd)

The E-Block is a 5-piece indie R&B band based in Upstate New York, blending the acoustic warmth of singer-songwriter music with an ice-cold rhythm section informed by modern R&B. Founded by guitarist Luke Pascarella in 2019, the band has grown to include saxophonist James Soren, keyboardist Devin Tetlak, bassist Daniel Folds, and drummer Leroy “Rudy” Dalton. With a deep bag of influences and free-flowing style, The E-Block has earned a reputation as a unique live act in the Capital Region scene. LadyByrd is an alt/pop-rock artist that was created in Albany, NY by Kaylee Boerner. Since 2020, LadyByrd has evolved from a power-trio into a fully-fledged four piece machine. Currently LadyByrd is comprised of songwriter, lead singer and instrumentalist Kaylee Boerner, guitarist Matt Maiorano, bassist Aaron Borenstein, and drummer Evan Randall. Inspired by her hometown, school, and in particular, her friends and family, LadyByrd has used the angst of growing up to create her sound and image. She is not afraid to lean into the pop-side of the pop-rock genre. Instead, she embraces it with open arms unapologetically (just with some occasional screaming). While being enrolled in demanding music classes at The College of Saint Rose (where the group met) LadyByrd has performed alongside national touring acts such as Screaming Females, Jigsaw Youth, and Guerrilla Toss. Wherever LadyByrd flies, they are a force to be reckoned with. She is currently promoting her debut EP “two byrds, one stone.”
