The Park Theater in Glens Falls hosts a special evening of jazz featuring The Music of Thelonious Monk with Adam Siegel, Jason Emmond & Matt Niedbalski live on Thursday, December 19th, 2024!
Matt Niedbalski is back with his monthly Jazz Night featuring a rotating lineup of featured artists and favorite collaborators. Enjoy music from the farthest throes of the jazz genre, from the classics you already love to originals you’ll fall in love with.

Matt Niedbalski (drums):
Matt Niedbalski is a drummer known for bringing musicality and energy to the bandstand. Born and raised in New York’s Capital District, Matt was exposed to music at a very early age. While in high school he took private drum lessons with drummer/author Ted Mackenzie and participated in the Empire State Youth Orchestra as well as the Skidmore Summer Jazz Institute. Before graduating high school Matt played with many local musicians, performing at the Troy Savings Bank Music Hall, the Final Stretch Music Festival and the Lake George Jazz Festival where he opened for Rudresh Manthappa and Bunky Green.
Adam Siegel (saxophone):
Adam Siegel is an alto saxophonist with over a decade of experience as a jazz improviser. He graduated from The University of the Arts in Philadelphia, PA, where he was instructed by Philadelphia-based tenor saxophonists Ben Schachter and Chris Farr. Adam has shared the stage with such greats as Dick Oatts, Jon Gordon, Joe Magnarelli, Grant Stewart, Tani Tabbal, Jeff Coffin, Matt Mitchell, Michael Bisio, and Pete Seeger. In addition to leading his own groups, the Whisper Trio and the Adam Siegel Quartet, Adam is currently a member of the Tani Tabbal Trio, the Walter Donnaruma Group, the Dylan Perrillo Orchestra, the Sketches of Influence, and the Anwar Marshall Trio.
Jason Emmond (bass):
Jason Emmond is an upright and electric bass player and composer residing in upstate New York. After growing up in New Hampshire and obtaining his bachelor’s degree from the University of New Hampshire, Jason made the move to Kansas City to play jazz. Recently, he relocated to Albany, NY, where he is continuing his music career.
Jason keeps busy playing with a variety of talented musicians from New York City, Kansas City, upstate New York, and beyond. You can find him playing often with artist Eddie Moore and his band, We the People, who have backed up notable artists such as Andre Hayward, Chantae Cann and Andrew Bailie.
With more exciting shows on the horizon and his first original album in the works, expect to hear more from Jason in the coming months.
